Northern Virginia childhood sweethearts, Lana and Michael, were born on the same day. So when Michael popped the question on their birthday surrounded by family and friends, it sealed a relationship as old as they were.
To bring their elegant and timeless vision to life, they chose the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner, which served as a sophisticated backdrop for their intimate ceremony and reception for their 200 guests. “Choosing the right venue that understood our non-traditional approach was important for our family,” said Lana. Every element was carefully designed to represent the couple.
After feasting on crab cakes, filet mignon, and a three-tiered cake featuring the couple’s favorite flavors, Lana and Michael danced into the night and departed on their honeymoon to Thailand and Bali.
